THE VISION

On July 17, 1996 after staying up all night talking about the things of God with an old friend Sean was about to say goodnight but felt impressed to pray. He felt that God wanted to say something. As Sean and his friend Howard started to pray the Lord began to reveal the vision of a ministry that would reach out to the world through crusades, films, tv, radio, internet, bookstores and the development of new styles of ministry designed to reach the world in the upcoming new millennium. The name the Lord gave them was Prayer Warrior Ministries. Sean created prayer magnets and gave them out to family and friends and asked them to pray for every detail and God's timing. For two years Sean carried the vision in his heart.

THE BEGINNING

In 1997 God continued to build upon the original vision as Sean came to the realization through much prayer and prophetic words he had received that one day he would pastor a church and that it would be in Oklahoma City. In July of 1998 the planning for the launch began. Through much prayer Sean felt the Lord had said, "It is time to start". On November 17, 1998 Prayer Warrior Ministries was launched and held it's first meeting in Studio City, California. What was taught that night has become the main thrust behind Prayer Warrior Ministries. Sean shared about Abba, Father. The message stressed the importance of having a deep, intimate relationship with God and how it affects every area of your life. Over the next three years Prayer Warrior Ministries held meetings, a singles conference and saw the development of the RAW (Radically Anointed Warriors) seminar. Sean also started to receive invitations to speak around the country in various churches and youth related events.

A NEW SEASON

In October 2001 while driving from a conference in Selma, Ca Sean was in prayer. The Lord started to speak to his heart. He said it was time to move back to Oklahoma. Eight months later on June 1st, 2002 the first step was taken as Prayer Warrior Ministries was relocated to Oklahoma City.

Where the exact time is not known it was roughly January 2001 when the Lord put two words on Sean's heart. Those words were Kingdom Power. As Sean was preparing for the move the Lord started to show him that Kingdom Power was not just words describing God's power but a deeper understanding of our relationship with Him. It is an understanding of how to live an empowered life everyday through an intimate devoted commitment to Jesus Christ. Sean began to realize that God was reshaping Prayer Warrior Ministries into something deeper. August 2002 the change was put into place and Prayer Warrior Ministries officially became Kingdom Power Ministries.

God is opening doors and establishing relationships between Kingdom Power Ministries and local pastors/ministries. There is a tremendous vision to set the state of Oklahoma on fire for God and that the fire would spread outwards engulfing the entire nation and then the world. There are those that only knew of God's miracles and then there were those He called friend that knew of His ways. We believe God desires a generation of believers that will seek Him above all else allowing God to trust and release to us a greater level of understanding and unparalleled Kingdom Power.

A NEW SEASON part two

In the summer of 2003 God began to lay on Sean’s heart a need to continue his education process. So in the fall of 2004 Sean began a two-year Christian leadership program to further his education. In order to focus on school and what God wanted to do Sean decided to cut back on ministry and just focus on school. The last two years have been an awesome journey and a time of tremendous growth. In June of 2006 Sean graduated with his associates degree in Christian Leadership.

School was not the only new adventure God had in store for Sean. In February of 2006 Sean met his soon to be bride at church on a Wednesday night. As they realized that this was what God had in store for them they began to plan for the future. They were married July 15, 2006. Sean has decided to take the first year of marriage and focus on his new bride. He believes that this is biblical and what God desires. Ministry is always there but the foundation for a great marriage starts from the very beginning and is too important. Look for Kingdom Power Ministries to rev up the engines again in 2008. By the way, Sean can’t quit smiling.

The next adventure which is unfolding as we speak is that Sean has always had a heart to reach people outside the church walls through Leadership training, Life Coaching and Motivational speaking. Where there have been some opportunities over the years in this field, doors are starting to open up and in April of 2007 Sean will launch the website for Empowered for Life, a new leadership/motivational company. www.empoweredforlife.tv
